Joana has been my trainer, motivator, and friend for over 5 months! She is consistently professional in her demeanor and exercise performance. When I began my fitness journey several months ago, I was apprehensive in reaching my goals – but Joana encouraged me daily! She sent emails, texts, and Facebook messages to ensure I was eating healthy and following the fitness plan she outlined for me. During, our training session she pushed me to use muscle that I did not even know I had, but always with a smile and words of praise when I finished the exercise.

"I was laid off from work at the end of March 2015. I thought I had a job in April because I had interview and and road tested with a company in March. ...
When I went for physical test at the end of March, I was unable to pass because my blood pressure was too high.
Around the middle of April I decided to employ a Personal Trainer to help me lose weight, and get my blood pressure down. I started walking 20 minutes most everyday. Joana explained me the importance of eating natural foods, and eating smaller meals more often was the key to slimming down. She had me lifting weights and working out on the various equipment. Many times, at the next lesson I would still be sore from the previous lesson, but we worked different areas each time.
I would feel overall better and more energetic.
I went from 207lbs to 195lbs(-12lbs in one month), and I was able to fit in to clothes I had not worn for years, it was apparent to me, that after a short amount of time the high degree of professionalism, expertise, choosing good workouts, encouraging me, and choosing which workout routine was right for my fitness level. Around mid May, I was able to pass my blood pressure test and in the process of working to get a full time job.
I believe Joana is the type of person who can help the most unfitted people with a strong desire to gradually achieve their fitness goals by showing them the right paths to be on, at any given moment.
It had been a God sent to have Joana as my Trainer.

A couple of months ago I began training with Joana. I was at a low point on my life, after being told I had to stop martial arts due to a series of head injuries I felt lost. The one thing I loved as an athlete had been taken from me. I gained weight and my health plummeted. That was until I met Joana and began training with her, she has helped me find that passion and fire again. I dropped 15 lbs and went from mid twenties in body % to 17%. Hard work, dynamic training, pushi...ng my limits, keeping track of my diet and being trained by a professional that truly cares. I haven't felt like this in years. As an athlete, a military service member and a walking testament to her training I highly recommend Joana to anybody who is serious about their fitness and lifestyle change. So in March of this year (2015) I finally decided to be brave enough to hire Joana as my personal trainer. My goal was to tone and tighten but mainly to feel good about myself overall. I had a trip to Aruba in July that I was planning for and really wanted to feel comfortable enough in my bathing suit. Well Joana kicked my butt in the most helpful and motivational way possible. She not only pushed me to work and train hard, but she taught me to push myself hard as well. Whene...ver I had weak moments I would text her immediately and she would send a quick text back with encouragement, tips, or just reassurance that I was doing great! She really in a trainer who is involved every step of the way. Not only in the gym but outside of the gym too. I highly recommend her for lifestyle training and weight training. Her goals become yours, and she is by your side throughout it all. I had a great trip to Aruba and was able to walk around the beach and pool feeling good about myself and enjoying my time rather than worrying about what I looked like. I have more training to do to get back on track with how well I was doing but she has taught me so well I know exactly how to push myself to continue my healthy journey! Joana was my first trainer..ever and I gotta say I'm so happy I made that decision. she was there at the right place and right time when I finally got sick of going in circles at the gym not knowing what I was doing. she has shown me my strengths,& weaknesses and pushed me through things I never thought I could do. And she did it in a professional but friendly manner. After about 4 months with her I had to quit my contract because of personal reasons but she has given me theknowledge of how to push myself and never give up because I am worth it and the results showed!! Not only is she amazing but her products (zija)that she promotes is amazing also! Since I've been using zija my performance inside and outside the gym has improved dramatically. Let's start off my saying she is amazing! I started my journey 1 month ago. And I have never been so determined and motivated until I met her. She is constantly checking in. And always there if need to talk or have any questions. Her workouts are killer! I love that she watches your form most of all. I like knowing I am doing them
